Web Template Overview

Your Gen8 web template contains several 'pre-designed' pages to help get your web site project up and running quickly. Your web pages include several components ( common elements such as menu bars, copyright information ) that you can update globally ( site wide ) as well as many basic and advanced features such as the MP3 Player, Flash gallery and alternate page layouts. Designed for first time web masters and seasoned web developers.

Basic Features

• Includes / Library pages: for quick site wide updates to common page components, such as copyright information, navigation
• Website Name: FREE update to 'Website Name' text graphic
• Add your own logo: replace the 'Website Name' graphic with your own transparent logo image
• Image replacement: swap default images with your own images
• Bookmark icon: allow visitors quick and easy bookmarking of your website
• Pre-designed pages: several pre-designed web pages such as 'contact', 'privacy', 'about us', ready to be edited

Advanced Features

• Google site search: add your URL to the Google search network and display search results for just your website
• Dynamic Web Templates: DWT (templates) that control the look and feel of your web pages
• Search Engine Optimization: Valid W3 XHTML coding, CSS styled navigation, and page components that allowing for effective SEO
• SPRY Photo Gallery: photo gallery page with multiple 'albums' and unlimited number of photos

• Contact form: pre-designed form page, just edit and connect to your web server form handler
• Themed images: several themed images throughout the web site and web pages. You can replace any of the themed images with your own.

• Editable Source Files: Web developers can change the colors of the template with the downloadable source files using Fireworks CS3 and Flash CS3

• Static icons: visitors can reach the key pages in your website

Flash Components

• Landing Page Flash Gallery: add or remove images, change the title and descriptions via your web editor ( to resize images we suggest using www.picnik.com or www.photo.net - both are fun and free)
• MP3 Player: add as many MP3 songs as you like!
• Animated 'Logo' and 'Tagline': edit the Primary and secondary 'taglines' via your web editor ( or text editor ).
